Family owned and operated since 2003, the Nathan Anthony line was created out of love for product design and fashion, with fresh and exciting designs that draw from the arts, fashion, architecture, contemporary culture and their own playful sensibilities. Nathan Anthony’s history is a rich and experienced one—thanks to NA’s own spirited principals they have been blissfully manufacturing quality, upholstered furniture out of the same location in Southern California since 1989.
Although they encourage playfulness in design, quality in construction is never spared. Frames are built the old-fashioned way—by hand, using Pirelli webbing, heavy gauge steel springs, corner-blocked, doweled, glued and upholstered on the bench. NA maintains careful attention to detail, balancing proportion with curves and lines—this is what makes for superb, stylish, long-lasting furniture.
